Pharaoh asked the most consequential question any of us can ask. It may be that you, like this ruler of long ago, don’t know who the Lord is.put. I’d urge you to find out.
When it came down to it, Pharoah did not want to know. He was good with the way things were. He had his act together. He had created a god of his own imagination and was content.
He knows now.
Exodus 5:2 ESV
[2] But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, and moreover, I will not let Israel go.”
