Navigating my way through Job is difficult. There is truth in what Job’s friends say at times, yet because they don’t have the whole picture, they are hurting more than helping. Job himself is in the same boat. He knows their accusations against him are unfair, but even he isn’t aware of all that is happening behind the scenes. There’s a lesson in there I think.
Job 32:2-3 ESV
[2] Then Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, burned with anger. He burned with anger at Job because he justified himself rather than God. [3] He burned with anger also at Job’s three friends because they had found no answer, although they had declared Job to be in the wrong.
