“His heart became numb”. No kidding, right? Can you imagine everything that must have been running through Jacob’s mind? All the questions he must have had?
I wonder if he was ever told the whole story?
It reminded me decisions we make, good and bad, can have life long consequences.

Genesis 45:25-26 ESV
[25] So they went up out of Egypt and came to the land of Canaan to their father Jacob. [26] And they told him, “Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” And his heart became numb, for he did not believe them.
