Don’t Give Up On Them

Moses could have said “good plan!”, but he didn’t. Who is this guy? Instead he intercedes once again on behalf of his people, at great personal cost. He appeals to God based on God’s own character to preserve this stubborn, rebellious people. Moses was an incredible example of loving self-sacrifice for those who didn’t deserve it and took it for granted. Should we be less for those in our own lives?

Numbers 14:11-12 ESV
[11] And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them? [12] I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”
